What Do I Get with DentaQuest?

Basic coverage that is anything but basic.

Great coverage on preventive services:* Our plans include checkups, cleanings, fluoride and X-rays.

Coverage for more serious issues:* Our plans also include fillings, crowns, and tooth extractions and other medically necessary treatments.

Help when you need it: Our Member service team speaks Spanish and English. We are ready to help 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central time. You can also use our secure Member website 24/7. The website can give you information on benefits, a copy of your ID card or let you pick a new Main Dentist.

Reminders for care: We will also reach out and let you know when it’s time for your child to visit the dentist. We can even help you set up the visit.

Dentists close to home: You can pick your child's dentist from our network. And if they don’t already have a dentist, we can help find one. If you ever need to pick a new Main Dentist, we can help with that too. You can even go online and change it anytime.

* The plan information you get when you sign up will spell out the details of what’s covered and when.

What Does It Cost?

Children’s Medicaid is at no cost to you.

If your child is able to get Children's Medicaid, there is no cost to you for covered services.

CHIP fees vary based on your income.

If your child is able to get CHIP, your enrollment fee and co-pays will be based on your family’s income. Enrollment fees are $50 or less per family, per year. Co-pays for covered services like doctor visits and prescriptions range from $3 to $5 for lower-income families and $20 to $35 for higher-income families.
