You should sign up for our secure Member website! Once you register you can get copies of your ID card, check benefits and change your Main Dentist 24/7.

Coverage for more serious issues:* Our plans also include fillings, crowns, and tooth extractions and other medically necessary treatments.
Help when you need it: Our Member service team speaks Spanish and English. We are ready to help 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central time. You can also use our secure Member website 24/7. The website can give you information on benefits, a copy of your ID card or let you pick a new Main Dentist.
Reminders for care: We will also reach out and let you know when it’s time for your child to visit the dentist. We can even help you set up the visit.
Dentists close to home: You can pick your child's dentist from our network. And if they don’t already have a dentist, we can help find one. If you ever need to pick a new Main Dentist, we can help with that too. You can even go online and change it anytime.

If your child is able to get Children's Medicaid, there is no cost to you for covered services.
If your child is able to get CHIP, your enrollment fee and co-pays will be based on your family’s income. Enrollment fees are $50 or less per family, per year. Co-pays for covered services like doctor visits and prescriptions range from $3 to $5 for lower-income families and $20 to $35 for higher-income families.

Get off to the right start by having a dental visit with 90 days of when you sign up with us. When you do, you can get one zippered backpack and a dental kit that includes a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste and a brushing chart and stickers. We will also include a spinning toothbrush, a timer and floss for the parent. That way, you can brush along with your child!

You can also get a $20 Walmart Gift Card when your child gets age-appropriate covered preventive care. You can use the card to buy healthy foods in order to improve overall oral health.

DentaQuest encourages Members to get non-emergency dental care from their Main Dentist and not in the emergency room when that is appropriate. Eligible Members may receive one $10 Walmart gift card for taking the following steps if they have had to visit a hospital emergency room for a dental related issue:

As of September 1, 2021, the extra benefits will change. There will no longer be a $10 Walmart gift card for signing up for the member portal.
To join Medicaid or CHIP, the first step is to qualify for benefits. To do that, you’ll need to visit YourTexasBenefits.com. At the site, you can also find out about medical benefits, WIC and SNAP food benefits, and cash assistance.
To qualify a child must be:
• Age 18 or younger (children up to age 20 can qualify for Medicaid in some cases).
• A Texas resident.
• A U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
What if I am not a U.S. citizen?The state does not ask about the citizenship or immigration status of the parent. Only the child must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident in Texas to be considered for CHIP/Children’s Medicaid coverage.
Once you qualify for benefits, you can call the enrollment broker to pick your plan. Be sure to tell them that you choose DentaQuest for dental services.
